Kitchen Splashbacks in Penrith & Blue Mountains
Glass Splashbacks
Glass is one of the most common materials for kitchen splashbacks in Australian homes. Back-painted glass splashbacks can be produced in a huge range of colours that can be chosen to work with the rest of your design scheme. As the paint is applied to the back of the glass, it is well protected and the surface area can easily be cleaned, with no cracks or grouting for kitchen grease to accumulate. If you change your mind on the colour, later on, you can simply remove and replace the glass splashback with another one.
Tile Splashbacks
Tile splashback is a section of tiles, usually positioned directly behind a sink or countertop and spanning about 300mm – 600mm of the way up the wall. In most cases, tile splashbacks comprise of ceramic or porcelain tiles (or sometimes mosaics) but there are no hard and fast rules as to what size or style you use. As long as they’re hardwearing, wipe clean and complement your kitchen design aesthetic, you are free to choose from a variety of styles.
Stone Splashbacks
Splashbacks made of stone can be a continuation of your countertop materials such as granite or marble. This provides a design continuity that glass cannot offer to you. These come in a wide variety, from engineered stone to granite and plenty of choices in between. Our team will be able to help you find the right stone to compliment your splashback.
